How To Become A Success-Magnet
A girl boss is a woman who takes control of her life and takes the time to level up. She works on her mindset, forms, and sticks to healthy habits, and knows the secret sauce to success.
Becoming a girl boss is fairly easy if you know where to start.
Implementing habits that will better your life and wellbeing is the best thing you can do for yourself as a woman.
If you are interested in being more productive and organized for the future and becoming the girl boss you know you can be, then read on.

Wake Up Early
Getting your body used to wake up early isn’t as dramatic as it may seem. Your body will need a couple of days to adjust its sleeping patterns, but soon you will be waking up on your own and feeling energized.
Waking up at the same time every day is great for productivity, especially if you plan your days in advance. It also helps with keeping the groggy morning feeling at bay. That means that you will actually have the energy for the day when you get out of bed. Score.
If you need help waking up, you will love my post on how to wake up early and not feel tired.
I also wrote a post all about my miracle morning routine which you absolutely have to check out if you’re looking for a new morning routine!
Have A Plan
Take a few minutes every night to write down what you plan on doing the next day. Plan your day according to priorities.
Have your bigger tasks written down first in order to get them out of the way. By planning, you are not only setting up your days for success, but you are also less likely to forget anything important.
Planning will also help you not miss any deadlines, and it will take your time-management skills to a whole new level.

Educate Yourself
As cliche as it sounds, knowledge is power. And every girl boss knows how important staying educated is.
Try to learn something new at least every other day. Whether it be a word in a foreign language, watching an inspiring TED talk, or listening to a podcast. In today’s world, there is a ton of information put out daily, and it’s all at our fingertips. Take advantage of that.
Know How To Say No
I’ve made a whole post on the importance of knowing how to say no, that’s how important a skill I believe it is.
I once heard the saying “By saying no to something you don’t want to do, you are saying yes to yourself”, and I wholeheartedly believe that.
Make time for what matters and what is going to add value to your life whether socially, emotionally or physically, and say no to whatever doesn’t.
Be Smart With Your Finances
Finances are one of the most crucial things to learn how to deal with once you start working.
Making a budget, keeping track of where your money goes, and saving will help you understand how you are spending and you will learn how to manage your money in a way that benefits you now, and also a way that will benefit your future.
Treat yourself occasionally but don’t forget to save a little each month for a rainy day.

You can also start implementing good money habits to your routine which will help you save, get yourself out of debt, and build wealth.
Make Time For Yourself
Unwinding after a long day is such a good feeling and so important to keep yourself energized.
As important it is to go out into the world and smash your goals, taking the time for self-care and your mental health is equally as important.
If all you have in a day is 30 minutes to yourself, make those 30 minutes all about you. Our bodies need downtime, don’t neglect yours.

Make your health a priority
Health is wealth, and there’s not a lot we can do in poor health.
While researching the daily routines of many successful people, I learned that most, if not all, of them have an exercise routine and eat healthy food for the most part.
Now this may seem obvious, but let’s really think about this.
When you eat junk food and drink your weight in Coke, how do you feel?
Do you feel like going “YES! I’m ready to crush my goals now!” Or do you crash on the couch an binge Netflix in hopes that it will make you feel less like crap?
My guess is the latter.
If you’re looking for super easy ways to stay healthy, check out my post on how to get healthy from home without going to the gym. It’s got some gems I think you will appreciate!
Stay organized and get rid of clutter
Clutter in your life = clutter in your mind.
Any girl boss knows that in order to get your mind right, you need to work on your environment.
Getting organized is an amazing way to clear the clutter and make more room for success and invite productivity into your life.
Need help with getting organized? My post on 30 ways to organize your life is going to help!
Meditate
Meditation is more than just breathing.
Being in a meditative state is going to help you focus, manage anxiety, and increase creativity. It’s not something I would skip if I were you!
Oprah claims it’s changed her life, and she’s only one of millions of people who meditate regularly for clarity and better wellbeing.
Don’t know where to start with meditation? Get yourself a meditation pillow like this one, download a meditation app or look up meditations on YouTube, and just start.
You will transform your mind and life in no time with meditation.
Habits over motivation
Motivation is not always going to be on your side.
Sometimes, you just won’t be motivated! Nobody is motivated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
But do you know how to be productive and successful despite not being motivated all the time?
Building habits. Consistency is key to everything. You get consistent by making things a habit.
Makes sense, right?
Think about waking up early. Easily becomes a habit. Paying your bills on time. Easily can become a habit. Exercising 5 times a week. Super easy to make it a habit.
Self-discipline will be worth a lot more to you in the long run than motivation, so make it a point to work on it constantly.
Here are some books on building habits you are going to LOVE!

Reading this post has actually made me want to make some changes. I do quite a lot of these things, but there’s always room for improvement. I do tend to get up at the same time each day, but I could make it a bit earlier to give myself extra time each day. I’ve also started working out on a morning and that’s had such a positive effect. But I could definitely eat a bit healthier than I do!

I love the reminder! I started the morning routine journey about a year ago. Seems like the only thing I struggle with is pushing myself to exercise in the morning.. any good tips to make that final push? Thanks!
Mariam says
You can sleep in your workout clothes or put them on as soon as you get up, and that should do the trick! You can also reward yourself every time you workout with a little something. Doesn’t have to be food either! 🙂
